Rajkot: Four, Including Mother-Daughter Duo, Killed as Two Cars Collide and Catch Fire on Sardhar-Bhadla Road; Four Others Injured

Ahmedabad: Four people, including a mother and her daughter, died tragically after two cars—a Maruti Alto and a Honda City—collided and caught fire on Sardhar-Bhadla Road near Rajkot on Saturday evening. The collision quickly escalated into a massive blaze, resulting in the deaths of four occupants who were trapped inside. Four others sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Niruben Atulbhai Makwana (30), resident of Gondal; her daughter Hetvi Atulbhai Makwana (4), Gondal; Hemanshi Shahil Sarvaiya (19), resident of Vijay Nagar, Gondal; and Mitul Ashokbhai Sakariya (13), Gondal.
The injured, identified as Shahil Sarvaiya (22), resident of Gondal; Hiren Atul Makwana (15), Gondal; and Nituben Ashokbhai Sakariya (40), Gondal, were taken to a hospital for immediate medical attention.
Upon hearing about the tragic accident, numerous residents from nearby areas gathered at the accident site. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
