Police Find Suicide Note During Investigation

A tragic incident has taken place in Surat, where the son of a police officer serving in the cavalry died by suicide on Sunday evening. The police officer’s son wrote a suicide note and hanged himself to death. Apparently, the 23-year-old son of the police officer, Chintavkumar, hanged himself to death. The police found a suicide note during investigation.
The deceased had written in the note that people at his home have high hopes from him, but he could not fulfill their dreams. He also mentioned that he did not know how to drive a car; he expressed his concern that after marriage, he would not be able to take his wife out due to it. He further wrote in his note that the money saved for his wedding should now be used to get his sister married with pomp. The deceased was in tension about his inability to drive and also about his future, which led him to take the drastic step.
Chintavkumar studied in the MTB Arts College. He was a third year student. On the basis of the note, the police have deduced that the man might have committed suicide because he did not know how to drive a vehicle. Meanwhile, the police are also investigating if there is involvement of any other reason for the suicide. The note has been sent for forensic report, and the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem. It is believed that more information about the matter might surface after receiving the reports of the post-mortem.
