PM Modi in Gujarat: Mega Roadshow in Ahmedabad Followed by Rally in Nikol, to Inaugurate Development Projects Worth Over ₹5,400 Crore

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday as part of his two-day Gujarat visit on August 25 and 26. Soon after landing at the airport, he headed towards Nikol to take part in a grand roadshow, followed by a public gathering. During this visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth more than ₹5,477 crore.

Roadshow from Airport to Nikol-Khodal Dham
Tight preparations were made in Ahmedabad for the event, with a cultural showcase planned along the route from the airport to Nikol-Khodal Dham. Before addressing the rally at Nikol, PM Modi will lead a 1.5-km roadshow starting from Haridarshan Crossroads and culminating at the Nikol Khodal Dham ground.

Foundation Stone for Projects Worth ₹2,209 Crore, Inaugurations of ₹916 Crore Works
In Ahmedabad, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for projects worth ₹2,209 crore and inaugurate completed works worth ₹916 crore. Among these is the redevelopment of the Ramapir Tekra slum cluster in Sector 3 under the ISSR component of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), completed at a cost of over ₹133 crore.

Additionally, projects such as stormwater drainage systems for Shela, Manipur, Godhavi, Sanathal, and Telav areas, as well as other urban development works in Ahmedabad, will also be launched.

Stamps and Registration Bhavan, Road Infrastructure Projects on the List
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the new Stamps and Registration Bhavan in Ahmedabad (West). To ease traffic congestion and improve infrastructure, a six-lane expansion project under the Hybrid Annuity Model will also be initiated, estimated at a cost of ₹1,624 crore.
