With the onset of Chaitri Navratri, a garba program has been organized in Surat. This program has been organized at Kosmada Patiya- Sampada Festivity. Various singers will perform during the nine days of Chaitri Navratri.
Along with Chaitri Navratri, social messages like ‘Say No To Drugs’, ‘Quit Addiction’, and ‘Plant Trees’ are also being passed. The garba begins only after performing the aarti, Hanuman Chalisa, and singing of the national anthem. The pass for a single day costs Rs 1000. A night before Navratri, Kinjal Dave made the fans dance on melodious garba songs.
Starting from today, different artists will make garba lovers dance to their tunes of garba for the next nine days. The list includes artists like Osman Mir, Aishwarya Majmudar, Bhoomi Trivedi and Jigardan Gadhvi among others. The Sursampada Navratri is being organized by Samidha Events, which aims to connect and awaken today’s youth with the culture and traditions of India.
