Recently, a video went viral on social media, in which two men are seen thrashing a man with a belt. As the video reached the police, they detained both the accused.
According to sources, the man was being beaten up at a petrol pump. The two accused were brutally beating the man; one of them was dragging him by his hair, while the other was beating him constantly.
The video is from the Odhav area.
It is being reported that the man was beaten up over a dispute of just fifty rupees. The police have arrested the accused and are taking legal action against them.
Now-a-days, such cases are on a rise where miscreants and anti-social elements terrorize and harass ordinary people. Such incidences raise questions on the efficiency of the arrangements and models adopted by the police to ensure safety of the citizens.
