Mercedes-Benz Gets Stuck in Swampy Sand at Surat’s Dumas Beach: Video Goes Viral

Surat: A luxury outing turned into a frustrating mishap at Dumas Beach in Surat, Gujarat, after a Mercedes-Benz became stuck in swampy sand near the shoreline, an incident that was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media. The short clip shows the car immobilized in the soft sand while a group of people, presumably the occupants, stand nearby looking helpless and uncertain about how to recover the vehicle.

According to local reports, the group had driven the vehicle onto the beach, despite clear signs and regulations prohibiting vehicles in the area due to environmental and safety concerns. How they managed to bypass police patrols remains unclear. Witnesses said the car was parked close to the waterline, and as the tide rose and receded, it sank deeper into the marsh-like sand, making recovery difficult without assistance.

Locals have voiced growing concern over such incidents, noting they are becoming more common despite restrictions. Many are now questioning the effectiveness of enforcement at the popular tourist spot. As of now, authorities have not released any official statement or confirmed whether any action will be taken against those involved.
