Massive Fire Erupts At Mattress Warehouse On Dabhoi Road In Vadodara

Vadodara: A major fire broke out at a mattress manufacturing warehouse located in Haribhakti Industrial Estate on Dabhoi Road, sending thick plumes of smoke across the area and prompting a swift response from the fire department.

The incident occurred at a facility operated by Shivranjani Industries, situated near Ganeshnagar along the Pratapnagar-Dabhoi Ring Road. The warehouse, which stored raw materials such as foam and fiber used in the production of mattresses and cushions, became engulfed in flames, causing widespread alarm in the vicinity.

As the blaze intensified, teams from multiple fire stations, including GIDC, Panigate, and Gajrawadi, rushed to the scene. Using powerful water jets, they worked tirelessly for over an hour to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported

Eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke clouds from miles away. After the flames were subdued, firefighters initiated cooling operations to ensure the fire didn’t reignite. A significant quantity of goods, including foam blocks and fiber rolls, was destroyed in the fire.

Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the fire. Local police have launched a preliminary inquiry and are assisting fire officials with the investigation. Though the damage to property is substantial, the absence of injuries was a relief to both emergency responders and nearby residents.
