Man Reported Missing From Vadodara Found Dead In Kalol, Raising Murder Suspicions
Body Of Deceased Found 70 KM Away From His Car

A man residing near the Darjipura RTO area of Vadodara, who was reported missing, has been found dead in Kalol. A missing report, of Dipenkumar Mukeshbhai Patel, was filed at the Harni police station. On the other hand, three days after the disappearance of the 29-year-old, his car was found in the Mahisagar river. Four days later, Deepen’s body was found in the Kalol canal, 70 kilometers away from his car, raising suspicion of his murder.
The deceased’s uncle-in-law, Jitendra Patel, informed that on May 7, Deepen was going to visit their home for dinner. His phone went off at 9:31 pm, during which he had talked with his wife for 7 seconds. After that, he could not be contacted, and thus, a police complaint was filed.
Deepen has a 4-year-old daughter, and a pregnant wife. He worked at a number-plate installation agency. It is believed that the murder was done due to issues in his business. As of now, the case is being viewed from the angle of murder. The family members of the deceased filed a missing complaint on May 8 at Harni police station. The deceased was on his way to his in-laws’ house on May 7, after which his whereabouts were unknown.

On the basis of the complaint, Harni police started searching for Deepen. On May 10, they found the deceased’s car late at night from the Angadh Mahisagar river near Vadodara. Additionally, a stone and blood stains were found in the car. The police initiated further investigations and took the help of FSL as well.
A team of high-level officers of the Vadodara City Crime Branch also got involved in the investigation, along with 4 other teams. On May 11, late at night, Deepen’s body was found in the Kalol canal. The body was found 70 kilometers away from the place where the car was found, raising murder suspicions. A CCTV footage has also been found, in which the car can be seen passing from Golden Chowkdi.
