Man Arrested in Murder of Airport Employee at Ahmedabad Hotel

A 22-year-old airport worker, Nasreenbanoo Firoz Akhtar, was found dead on the evening of March 16 in a room at the Tandoor Hotel near Ahmedabad Airport. Preliminary investigations indicate that she was strangled.
Police have arrested Chintan Vaghela, a friend of the victim, who had accompanied her into the hotel room. After the incident, Vaghela reportedly fled toward Anand, but authorities managed to detain him, and he is now being interrogated.
Originally from Uttar Pradesh and residing in Ramol, Nasreenbanoo was employed at the airport. When her body was discovered in the suspicious setting of the hotel room, airport police immediately secured the scene, sent her body for post-mortem examination, and registered a case. Initial findings pointed to strangulation rather than an accidental death, leading to the focus on Vaghela as a suspect.
The Ahmedabad Crime Branch continues its investigation into the case, working to uncover further details surrounding the tragic incident.
