Ahmedabad: The results for JEE Advanced 2025 were announced today, and Gujarat made a strong mark on the national stage with seven students securing positions in the All India Top 100. The prestigious engineering entrance exam saw Rajit Gupta top the national chart with an impressive score of 332 out of 360 marks.
Among the top achievers from Gujarat, Mohit from Ahmedabad emerged as the state topper, securing All India Rank (AIR) 12. He was followed by Agam Shah from Surat, who secured AIR 17. In total, 1.82 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2025, conducted for admissions into India’s top engineering institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on June 2 (Monday) announced the results for the JEE Advanced 2025.

Agam Shah – AIR 17, Surat
Manan Patel – AIR 43, Ahmedabad
Rishabh – AIR 48
Shiven – AIR 58

Aadit Bhagde – AIR 94, Vadodara
Notably, Rajkot alone contributed four students to the Top 100, underlining the city’s growing prominence in engineering exam preparation. Ahmedabad had two students in the elite list, while Vadodara added one.
More than 13 lakh students had taken the JEE Main exam earlier this year, from which top candidates qualified for the Advanced stage. With today’s result, qualified students will now move on to the counselling phase for seat allocation in India’s top engineering colleges through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
