“If Gopal Italia Wins Election From Morbi, I Will Resign”: MLA Jitu Somani Joins The ‘War Of Challenges’

The political scenario in Morbi is quite active lately, as a ‘war of challenges’ is going on between leaders on social media. With the ongoing resignation challenges, a new challenge has come up in the line, this time from Wankaner MLA Jitu Somani. Apparently, Somani came in support of MLA Kanti Amrutiya and challenged Visavadar MLA Gopal Italia, saying that if Gopal Italia wins the election, he would resign.

The Wankaner MLA said that Italia should resign before the President on Monday and contest elections from Morbi, if he has the strength to do so. If Gopal Italia wins the election from Morbi, he would resign, Somani added.

This move by Somani comes after Italia accepted the challenge given to him by BJP MLA Kanti Amrutiya. Amrutiya had reportedly challenged AAP MLA Gopal Italia to contest elections from Morbi; if Amrutiya would lose, then he would give Rs 2 crore to Italia. Interestingly, Italia had readily accepted this challenge.

Now, MLA Jitu Somani has challenged Gopal Italia. Meanwhile, amid all these challenges, people are expressing their anger, as their questions remain unanswered. Common people are concerned with the fulfillment of their demands, which is not taking place as the leaders are busy challenging each others to resign. The real issues are not being addressed.
