Heavy Rain Forecasted for Coming Week

Meanwhile, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are expected to receive moderate rainfall. The forecast, which also includes the possibility of thunderstorms, is attributed to an active monsoon trough combined with a cyclonic circulation system. In light of the weather patterns, fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the sea.
Reservoir Levels Rise Significantly
The sustained rainfall has led to a healthy inflow of water into the state’s dams. Across Gujarat, the 207 reservoirs are now filled to 59.03% of their total capacity.
