Gujarat’s Jamnagar: Woman Commits Suicide With Four Children by Jumping Into a Well

Jamnagar: In a tragic incident, a 32-year-old woman allegedly took her own life along with her four children by jumping into a well in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district, police confirmed on Friday.

Authorities discovered the bodies on Thursday when they were found floating in a well located in Sumra village, Dhrol taluka, said Inspector H.R. Rathod of Dhrol police station. The deceased were identified as Bhanuben Toriya and her children: Ritwik (3), Anandi (4), Aju (8), and Ayush (10).

Police retrieved the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. The motive behind the incident remains unknown, and authorities have registered a case of accidental death while further investigations continue.
