Gujarat Family Attacked in Rajasthan: Stone-Pelting Targets Pilgrims Returning from Markundeshwar Temple, Woman Injured

In a shocking incident near Jambudi village in Rajasthan, a family from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was targeted in a stone-pelting attack by unidentified assailants. The family, hailing from Bapunagar, was returning from a visit to the Markundeshwar Mahadev Temple when the assault occurred. The attack damaged the front and side windows of their car, with one large stone found inside the vehicle. A young woman from Siddhpur sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Adhyashakti Hospital in Ambaji for treatment.

During the incident, the car’s rear tire burst, forcing the family to drive on three wheels to safety. Due to a lack of mobile network coverage, they could not seek immediate help and managed to reach Ambaji. Fortunately, the children in the car escaped unharmed.

Following the report of the incident, Ambaji police, led by the local inspector, promptly arrived at the scene. The injured were provided medical care and safely sent home. This alarming attack on pilgrims has raised concerns about safety in the region.
