According to the IMD’s Nowcast, a red alert is in effect for Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, and Sabarkantha from 7 PM to 10 PM today (June 28), warning of severe weather conditions during this period.
June 30 Forecast
On June 30, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for 13 districts, including Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Navsari, Tapi, Dang, and Valsad. These areas are expected to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.
July 1-2 Forecast
For July 1 and 2, an orange alert has been issued for Navsari and Valsad, indicating very heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, a yellow alert covers Surat, Tapi, Dang, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, and Dahod, where heavy showers are anticipated.
July 3-4 Forecast
On July 3, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad remain under an orange alert due to the likelihood of very heavy rain. A yellow alert has been issued for Dang, Tapi, Narmada, Bharuch, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath. On July 4, the yellow alert extends to Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Navsari, and Valsad, signaling continued heavy rainfall.
