A fire broke out due to short circuit in the MGVCL DP, situated in front of Narayan International School, in Vadodara city. The MGVCL workers shut off the power supply, whereas the fire brigade team managed to control the fire by jetting water continuously.
Apparently, the fire was caused due to short circuit. The DP was burnt out. After knowing about the incident, Gajarawadi fire brigade team rushed to the spot. On the other hand, the power supply was shut off by the workers of the MGVCL. After the power supply was shut off, the fire brigade team managed to control the fire after a lot of efforts, by spraying water continuously.
Due to rising heat, electric usage is increasing, which in turn increases the electric load. As a result, short circuits are taking place, also leading to fires. The information of short circuit being the reason of the fire was given by Jitendra Rohit from the Gajarawadi Fire Brigade. As the heat is increasing day by day, electrical load is also surging, leading to fire incidents.
