Amidst the spread of fake courts, judges, doctors, and officials, another such incident has come to light in Kutch district. A fake female doctor has been arrested from Lakhpat. An application has been filed at the Collector’s office. The fake female doctor was running a gynecological nursing hospital in Dayapar, Lakhpat, for the last three years.
The Taluka Health Officer raided the hospital along with the police, and busted the entire scandal. The police seized medicines worth Rs4.69 lakh and took further action.
A responsible citizen had filed a complaint at the District Collector’s office alleging that a bogus female doctor named Anuradha Mantuprasad Yadav, was running a hospital called New Janani in Maruti Complex, Dayapar.
The District Development Officer and the Health Department officer informed the entire matter to the officials at the taluka level. As a result, the taluka health department officials raided the hospital along with the police.
The officials discovered that the woman, hailing from Bihar, did not have any educational qualifications or degrees of MBBS, MD, or DGO, to practice medicine. Still, the fake doctor had opened a gynec nursing hospital, and was conducting the deliveries of pregnant women since the last three years.
Additionally, she was giving medicines and injections to patients from an indoor medical store set up in the hospital itself.
Dayapar police have issued a notice to the woman, and is taking further action in the matter.
