Evacuation Efforts Begin For Gujaratis Stranded In Kashmir, State Government Seeks Tourist Details From Districts

Ahmedabad: Kashmir, one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations, has been in a state of chaos and fear since Tuesday’s deadly attack in Pahalgam. While many tourists have managed to leave the region, a significant number of Gujaratis are still stranded, desperately trying to return from the tragedy-stricken state. In response, the Gujarat government has launched an operation to safely bring back its citizens from the affected area.
The state government has directed each district to compile a list of Gujaratis currently in Kashmir. In light of the recent attack, the Gujarat government is working closely with the Jammu and Kashmir authorities to ensure the safety and security of families who traveled there for tourism. Following instructions from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state has made the necessary arrangements to facilitate the safe return of Gujarat’s citizens.
