Drunk School Bus Driver Crashes into Residential Society and Car in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad witnessed a shocking incident as a school bus driver, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, crashed his bus into a residential society in Shilaj. Fortunately, no students were on board at the time of the accident.

Despite Gujarat being a dry state, alcohol-related incidents have been on the rise, raising concerns among residents. Eyewitnesses confirmed that the driver, identified as Mahesh, was intoxicated when he drove the bus into a restricted area of Shrinath Park Society and collided with the society’s boundary wall. When confronted, he admitted to drinking before duty, claiming it to be a regular habit.

The incident has sparked outrage among the residents, who expressed serious concerns about the safety of students. Authorities have launched an investigation, and while no formal complaints were initially filed, officials have now registered a case against the driver for drunk driving.
