Drone Shot Down Near Nani Dhrufi Village In Abdasa; People Of Kutch Appealed To Stay Indoors

A high alert has been issued in the border areas of the state as tension of the India-Pakistan war looms across the nation. Meanwhile, a Pakistani drone has been shot down at the Nani Dhrufi village of Abdasa. The debris of which was found on the outskirts of the Khanay village.

Amid such conditions, the collector of Kutch, through a social media post, appealed to the people to stay indoors. In the post, the collector advised the people to stay safe inside their homes and not to step out unnecessarily. He further appealed to not pay attention to rumors.

Due to Kutch being a sensitive border area, a blackout was imposed there on Friday night due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. An announcement was made on the official X account of the District Collector of Kutch. Owing to which, a blackout was imposed in Kutch, with an immediate effect. The collector informed that keeping in mind the current situation, the blackout was imposed, and it will continue to be imposed until further notice. The district administration appealed to the people to give their assistance in the matter.

On the other hand, blackout was also imposed in Banaskantha. A blackout was also introduced in Suigam and Vav talukas by the Banaskantha district administration. People were advised by the district administration to not pay attention to rumors and fake information, and to obey the instructions of the administration.

Following Operation Sindoor, tensions are escalating between India and Pakistan. The Indian Army has appropriately retaliated to the drone and missile attacks conducted by Pakistan from Jammu to Kutch border. States bordering Pakistan have been put on alert mode.
