Congress Eyes Gujarat for 2027, While BJP Slams Party’s Hope

The AICC Convention Begins From Today

The national convention of the AICC, starting from today, will be attended by several leaders and delegates. Important meetings will be conducted by Congress President Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi. On the other hand, Pawan Khera, during a media interaction, said that an atmosphere of gloom and darkness is prevailing in the country. Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and women are facing injustice.

While talking about the country’s future, he added that Congress is looking towards Gujarat and Gujarat is looking towards Congress. Whenever there are clouds of darkness or crisis hovering in the country, Gujarat has shown the way. Congress has been away from power in Gujarat for 3 decades. He further said that Congress will bring change in Gujarat by following the path of justice, and it will win in Gujarat in the 2027 elections.

He stated that it was Gujarat that gave the appropriate direction in the freedom struggle. Congress will accept such challenges with renewed energy. The country still looks at Congress with hope. People have faith that Congress will show the way.

Talking about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Pawan Khera said that personalities like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Mahatma Gandhi hailed from Gujarat. Gujarat has always shown the way to the country. Now, everyone is looking at Congress with hope, implying that everyone is with Congress, encouraging it to move forward. Whenever Congress comes on the path of struggle, the country benefits. The essence of Congress is dedication, determination, and struggle.

To the contrary, state minister Jagdish Vishwakarma criticized the convention and claimed that Congress has remembered Gujarat after 64 years. It runs on nepotism. Development in Gujarat is taking place under the rule of BJP. Congress leaders are still living their life in a dream instead of accepting reality. For the next 20 years, there are no possibilities of Congress forming a government in Gujarat.
