Panchmahal News: A major accident has been reported in Panchmahal district. At Pavagadh, a goods ropeway collapsed, leading to the death of six people, according to initial reports. Police and fire department teams rushed to the spot immediately to carry out rescue operations.
Six killed as ropeway collapses
As per information received, the incident took place at the Shaktipeeth in Pavagadh when a goods ropeway suddenly broke. Several people were injured in the accident. Among the deceased are said to be two lift operators, two laborers, and two others.
Authorities have begun an investigation, and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
