With rising number of blast cases taking place in the state, another such incident has come to light. A blast has taken place in the GIDC company in Vapi. A worker has died in the incident and an injured worker has been shifted to the hospital for treatment. The police rushed to the spot upon learning about the incident, and are conducting further investigations.
As per sources, a blast took place at the Amoli Organic Company in Vapi GIDC on Monday (April 28). Apparently, the blast took place in the company’s dryer plant. A worker died on the spot, whereas another worker got seriously injured.
The deceased was sent for post-mortem at the hospital soon after the incident. On the other hand, a worker is still receiving treatment for injuries. However, no concrete reason for the blast has been revealed yet.
