Urgent Repairs Required for 7 Bridges in Bhavnagar, Says Civic Report

Ahmedabad – A recent preliminary inspection of 20 bridges across Gujarat has revealed that seven require immediate repairs. The assessment, conducted by state authorities, aimed to evaluate the structural integrity of key infrastructure following concerns about aging bridges.

The inspection focused on bridges critical to transportation networks in the region. Findings indicate that while 13 structures were deemed stable, seven showed signs of wear, including cracks and weakened supports, necessitating urgent maintenance to ensure public safety. The report did not specify the locations of the affected bridges but emphasized that repair work would be prioritized to prevent potential hazards.
