Before Gujarat Cabinet Expansion Rift Seen In Dang BJP, Two Leaders Joined Congress

Dang : There are signs of major changes in Gujarat politics. As the expansion of the state cabinet is going to take place tomorrow (October 17), a major rift is being seen in the BJP in Dang district. Two prominent BJP leaders have decided to leave the party and join the Congress. These leaders include Deepak Pimple and Mangal Gavit.
According to the information received, Deepak Pimple, a member of Ahva Taluka Panchayat of Dang district and an active leader of BJP, has resigned from the BJP. He has submitted his resignation in writing to Dang district BJP president Kishore Gavit. Deepak Pimple was associated with BJP for the last 25 years. He also served as the former president of Ahva Taluka Panchayat’s Social Justice Committee.
The reason behind Deepak Pimple’s resignation has come to light due to the ongoing factionalism in the BJP. The disciplined party leader has alleged that more importance is given to leaders who have joined the BJP from the Congress. It is noteworthy that Dang’s BJP leader Mangal Gavit left Congress and joined BJP in the year 2020 and has now returned home to Congress.
Mangal Gavit had resigned from his Congress MLA post and joined BJP and had demanded a ticket for the by-election. However, BJP did not give ticket to Mangal Gavit at that time. Now, after five years, he has broken away from BJP and joined Congress again.
