Another Complaint Against Hiralba Jadeja: Accused Of Committing Cyber Fraud
Accused Of Opening Accounts In Different Banks And Defrauding People In Various States

One more case has been registered against Hiralba Jadeja, aunt of MLA Kandhal Jadeja. A complaint of cyber fraud has been filed against Hiralba Jadeja and 6 others, in Porbandar. Cyber Crime itself has become a complainant and initiated action. The complaint mentions opening bank accounts and committing cyber fraud. To be precise, 14 accounts were opened in various banks and people from different states were defrauded.
They used a special kind of modus operandi for cheating. It has been alleged that they deposited Rs.35.7 lakhs in Kotak Bank account in Porbandar. Later, the amount was misappropriated. Apart from this, allegations of fraud worth Rs.4 crores have also been made in Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh.
Giving information about the matter, the police said that Hiralba Jadeja, along with her associates, opened bank accounts in the names of small people, and deposited the money earned through cyber crime being committed in different states of the country in those accounts. This is a serious crime related to the syndicate of cyber crime at the central level. Due to this, the Crime Branch has registered cases against Hiralba Jadeja and her associates, identified as Hitesh Vadodara, Paar Songela, Mohan Vaja, Ajay Chauhan, and Raju Mer under sections 411, 413, 420, 120(B) of the IPC, section 66(B) of the IT Act.
It is worth mentioning that Hiralba Jadeja is already incarcerated in a kidnapping case. Apparently, a video of a woman, living in Israel and originally hailing from Porbandar, had gone viral. In the video, the woman named Lilu Odedra had made allegations on Hiralba of extorting money. She had said that her family members were in trouble as Hiralba’s men had kidnapped them for financial matters. They claimed that she had taken Rs.1 crore from them. They were not leaving her house. She added that she had not taken any money from them. Hiralba’s men told her that unless she managed the money, her family would not be saved. In the video, she pleaded to save her family.
The woman had alleged that her husband, son-in-law, and son had been kidnapped. After the incident came to light, the police registered a case of kidnapping, pressurising to surrender land, plot, and jewellery, threatening to murder, and extortion. Hiralba Jadeja was arrested in the case.
