
A mild earthquake jolted Gujarat’s Kachchh region late on April 22, with the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reporting a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter Scale. The tremor was recorded at 11:26 PM IST, originating at a depth of 20 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface.
The seismic activity was confirmed by the NCS, which continues to monitor aftershocks and related developments.
Earlier the same day, a separate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 was reported in Tajikistan, according to initial updates.
