Ahmedabad Hit And Run: One Youth Killed, Another Injured After Woman Crashes Car Into Bike

Ahmedabad: A tragic hit-and-run incident late Tuesday night in Ahmedabad’s Naranpura area claimed the life of one youth and left another seriously injured. The accident occurred near the Anjali crossroads close to the local post office, where a car driven by a woman reportedly rammed into a two-wheeler carrying two young men.

According to eyewitnesses and police sources, the woman was driving a Creta car at high speed when she lost control and crashed into the oncoming bike. The impact was so severe that one of the youths died on the spot, while the other sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital via a 108 ambulance.

The woman driver fled the scene immediately after the collision, abandoning her car and evading arrest. Authorities have launched an investigation and are searching for her.

Both victims were originally from Gir Somnath district and have been identified as Aryan Barad and Brijesh Dodiya. This incident adds to the growing number of hit-and-run cases across Ahmedabad and Gujarat, raising serious concerns about road safety and reckless driving. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the driver and gather further evidence.
