Ahmedabad: A serious road accident has taken place this morning near Sandhida on the Dholera-Bhavnagar highway. A total of 5 people, including a woman and three men, have died in a head-on collision between two cars. The people in the Scorpio car are originally from Mahuva taluka of Bhavnagar and currently live in the Science City area of Ahmedabad, while the people in the Kia car are from Palitana of Bhavnagar.
The accident occurred when a Kia car coming from Bhavnagar and a Scorpio car going from Dholera to Bhavnagar collided. Traffic jam scenes were created on the road where the accident occurred. As soon as the Dholera police informed about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and started relief and rescue work and traffic regulation. The 108 ambulance team reached the spot and shifted the injured to the Bhavnagar hospital for treatment.
The police have conducted further investigation into the accident. The work on the Dholera-Bhavnagar highway is going on. In the accident, the SCORPIO car overturned and went under the road. On being informed about the accident, Dholera 108 rushed to the spot and the injured in this accident were taken to Bhavnagar for treatment.
