4 Gujarat Cadre IAS Officers Appointed to Central Government Departments | Check Here

Ahmedabad: According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department of Gujarat Government, the Cabinet Appointments Committee Secretariat of the Central Government has issued notifications for the appointment of four Gujarat cadre IAS officers to junior secretary positions at the center. Manisha Chandra, K K Nirala, Saidinpui Chakchuak, and Supreet Singh Gulati will go to Delhi on deputation for the next five years.

Officers Appointed Under Regular Deputation:

1. Manisha Chandra, IAS Batch 2004

Currently serving as Secretary in the Panchayat, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department, Manisha Chandra has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence Production, New Delhi.

2. K K Nirala, IAS Batch 2005

Serving as Secretary of the Finance Expenditure Department, K K Nirala has been appointed as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi.

3. Saidinpui Chakchuak, IAS Batch 2008

This officer, who serves as Managing Director of Gujarat Tourism Corporation, has been appointed as Joint Secretary at the National Human Rights Commission, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.

4. Supreet Singh Gulati, IAS Batch 2008

Gulati, who serves as CEO of Development Support Agency of Gujarat (DSAG), has been appointed as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, New Delhi.

All four officers will serve their duties at the center for five years or more. This order has been approved by Kamal Dayani, Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Gujarat Government.
