Vijay Deverakonda And Rashmika Mandanna Share First Wedding Photos, Call Each Other ‘Husband’ and ‘Wife’
The wait is finally over for fans of one of Bollywood and Tollywood’s most beloved couples. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who confirmed their long-rumoured relationship just last week, are now officially married. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held in Udaipur on Thursday morning, following traditional Telugu customs and by Thursday evening, they had already melted the internet with their first wedding photographs.
A Love Made Official
Both Vijay and Rashmika took to social media to share heartfelt notes alongside the dreamy wedding photos, formally introducing each other as husband and wife for the first time.
Vijay described marrying his best friend, reflecting on a quiet moment of realisation that she had become indispensable to his everyday life. “One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend… my wife. 😀❤️ 26.02.2026,” he wrote.
Rashmika, equally effusive, introduced Vijay to her followers as “My Husband” and spoke at length about his influence on her life. “The man who taught me what true love feels like, the man who showed me what being in peace feels like,” she wrote, adding that she credits him for helping shape the woman she has become. She concluded her post on a jubilant note: “I am so so so so soooo excited to becoming your wife! To be your wife! To be called your wife!! 💃🏻❤️ it’s full party time now!!”
Traditional Looks for a Traditional Ceremony
The couple embraced Telugu wedding traditions in their attire as well. Rashmika wore an orange and gold saree complemented by elaborate gold jewellery. She made her entry draped in a veil, which she removed as the ceremony progressed. Vijay kept it classic in a traditional white dhoti with a red stole, accessorised with gold cufflets that lent him a distinctly regal air.
The wedding photographs captured the couple in candid, joyful moments beaming at each other, Rashmika visibly emotional at points, and in one particularly tender image, planting a kiss on Vijay’s nose.
Celebrations in Full Swing
Pre-wedding festivities had begun on Tuesday in Udaipur, with the couple’s closest friends and family in attendance throughout. The celebrations are set to continue with a reception for colleagues and friends from the film industry, scheduled for March 4.
