I Feel Sorry For Him : Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal Reacts To Pranit More’s Rs 370 Biryani Controversy

Mumbai: Bigg Boss 19 fame Tanya Mittal has shared her views on the ongoing controversy surrounding comedian Pranit More’s viral rs370 biryani remark, saying she feels sorry for him despite not being his biggest supporter.

The row erupted after a clip from Pranit More’s stand-up show went viral, in which an audience member suggested he expected returns after spending rs370 on a chicken biryani date. The comment sparked outrage online, with many accusing the comedian of not adequately calling out the problematic statement and rising concern about consent and misogyny.

Reacting to the backlash, Tanya Mittal said that while people should be held accountable for their actions, mistakes are a part of being human. She reportedly stated that ” galti insaan se hoti ha” and felt the criticism against Pranit had become overwhelming. Tanya added that although she does not particularly like him, she still sympathises with the situation he is facing.

The controversy has continued to gain traction, drawing criticism from several public figures and prompting action from authorities. Maharashtra Cyber Police registered an FIR in the matter, while the National Commission for Women (NCW) also took cognisance of the viral clip.

Meanwhile, Pranit More has issued public appologies, admitting that he was “carried away” during the interaction and should have handeled the situation differently. As the debate continues, the incident has sparked a broader discussion about consent, responsibility in comedy, and accountability on social media.
