Mumbai : Unidentified assailants fired 5 rounds of shots outside Bollywood Film Director and producer Rohit Shetty’s residence situated in Mumbai’s Juhu. The incident occurred between 12.40 am to 1 am with no injuries reported.
Prima Facie, Mumbai police went to the spot to investigate the matter where they found CCTV Footage. The visual revealed there was an individual involved in his firing who was smoking in that area.
The motive is yet to be clear. A case has been filed under relevant BNS and Arms Act sections and is under investigation. More police personnel have been deployed near his residence for his safety and protection.
Police officials informed forensic teams have reached the spot for detailed examination and all possible angles have been taken into consideration. In addition to this, Mumbai police have established 12 special teams to nab the suspects involved.
Rohit Shetty is known for his famous films like Golmaal and Singham.
