Actor Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained an injury while filming his upcoming movie, “King,” at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco studio. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the incident occurred during the shooting of an intense action sequence, after which Khan traveled to the United States for medical treatment.
While the specific nature of the injury has not been officially disclosed, the report from Bollywood Hungama quotes a source who described it as a “muscular injury.” The same source clarified that the injury is “nothing serious,” noting Khan’s history of sustaining similar injuries while performing stunts over his career.
As a result of the accident, Shah Rukh Khan has been advised to rest and is expected to take a one-month break from his work commitments. Consequently, the filming schedule for “King” has been adjusted, with production now anticipated to resume in either September or October, allowing him adequate time for a full recovery.
“The next schedule of King will now begin in September/October as SRK has been advised to take time off for recovery,” the source told Bollywood Hungama. “On completely recovering from the injury, he will hit sets again with full force.”
