Bollywood Star Salman Khan Sells Bandra Apartment for ₹5.35 Crore

Mumbai – Bollywood icon Salman Khan has sold a residential property in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra West for ₹5.35 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The transaction, finalized on July 15, 2025, involved an apartment in Shiv Asthan Heights, a premium residential complex in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

The apartment, spanning approximately 1,318 square feet (122.45 square meters), includes three dedicated car parking spaces, enhancing its market value. The sale incurred a stamp duty of ₹32.01 lakh and registration fees of ₹30,000, as per documents accessed through the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) portal.

Prior to the sale, Khan had leased the same property in 2023 for a 36-month term, as reported by Storyboard18. The rental agreement started at ₹1.5 lakh per month in the first year, increasing to ₹1.57 lakh in the second year and ₹1.65 lakh in the third, generating a total of ₹56.64 lakh in rental income over the three-year period.

Khan, a prominent figure in the Hindi film industry since the 1990s, continues to reside in Galaxy Apartments, also located in Bandra West. The actor, known for films such as Sultan (2018), Bharat (2020), and Sikander (2025), is also the founder of the Being Human Foundation, which supports various charitable initiatives.

Bandra West remains a prime real estate hub, attracting Bollywood celebrities and investors due to its proximity to key business districts like Bandra Kurla Complex and its excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway and upcoming Metro lines.
