Salman Khan Makes Rare Public Appearance at Friend’s Wedding Under Heavy Security

Bollywood icon Salman Khan attended the wedding of his friend Ayaz Khan to Zeba in Mumbai on Saturday, arriving under stringent security measures due to ongoing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The actor, dressed in a blue shirt, grey jacket, and matching pants, was escorted by Mumbai police’s Y-plus security detail. Videos and photos circulating on social media captured Salman warmly greeting the bride and groom, sharing smiles with their family, and navigating a crowd eager to catch a glimpse of the star.
Sohail Khan, Salman’s brother, was also present at the event, accompanied by his son Nirvaan Khan. Sohail wore a casual black T-shirt and jeans, while Nirvaan sported a black T-shirt, maroon jacket, and denim. The security personnel faced challenges managing the enthusiastic crowd as Salman entered the venue. That this was a rare public appearance for Salman, who has limited such outings following multiple death threats, including a security breach at his Galaxy Apartments residence.
On the professional front, Salman’s recent film, Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, enjoyed box office success despite mixed critical reviews, according to The Times of India. The action entertainer is slated for an OTT release on May 25, 2025.
