Saiyaara Box Office Triumph: Debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Film Crosses ₹100 Crore in Just Four Days

The romantic drama Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and marking the debut of actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has made a remarkable impact at the box office. The film successfully surpassed the ₹100 crore benchmark within its first four days of release, establishing itself as one of the major commercial successes of 2025.

According to figures reported by Sacnilk, Saiyaara demonstrated a strong performance on its first Monday, collecting ₹22.50 crore. This brought the film’s total domestic earnings to an impressive ₹105.75 crore. While the Monday collection represents a slight decrease from its weekend earnings, it indicates a stable hold for the film during the weekday.

The movie began its theatrical run with a strong opening of ₹21.5 crore and peaked on Sunday with its highest single-day collection of ₹35.75 crore. Its exceptional performance has already positioned it as one of the top five highest-opening weekends of the year. With its current total, Saiyaara has eclipsed the lifetime box office collections of other notable 2025 releases, including Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 (approximately ₹92 crore) and Sunny Deol’s Jaat (₹88 crore), making it the seventh highest-grossing film of the year so far.

A production of Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara is a poignant narrative exploring themes of love, loss, and heartbreak. The story centers on a struggling musician, Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), and a young writer named Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), who is facing a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

The film’s box office success is being attributed to its moving storyline, popular music, and the compelling performances by its newcomer leads, which have resonated strongly with audiences, particularly the Gen-Z demographic.
