Bollywood Stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Check Progress on New Mumbai Home

Just days after celebrating their third wedding anniversary, Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen visiting their under-construction residence in Mumbai. The visit, captured in a video shared on Instagram, showed the actors inspecting their future home, a project that has been in development for several years.
The couple’s outing followed a heartfelt anniversary post by Alia Bhatt on April 14, where she shared a charming beachside photo with Kapoor, captioning it, “Home, always. #Happy3” with heart and hug emojis. The post highlighted their strong bond and their joy in raising their daughter, Raha, born in November 2022.
The new home, a multi-storey bungalow in Bandra, carries deep sentimental value for the Kapoor family. Named Krishna Raj after Ranbir’s late grandmother, the property once belonged to his grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj. Inherited by Ranbir’s parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, in 1980, the family lived there for years. Reconstruction plans began in 2016 under Rishi and Neetu’s guidance, and the project has since progressed significantly.
Ranbir was dressed casually in a black t-shirt, shorts, sneakers, and a cap, while Alia accompanied him at the construction site. Reports suggest the couple intends to name the bungalow in honor of their daughter, Raha, adding a personal touch to the family legacy.
The Krishna Raj bungalow, valued at approximately ₹250 crore, has drawn attention in recent months. A report from October 2024 noted that the six-floor building, featuring grey and light blue exteriors with glass balconies and large windows, was nearly complete, though some online reactions expressed disappointment with its final look. Despite this, the couple remains focused on creating a new home steeped in familial history.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, known for their roles in films like Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, continue to balance their professional and personal lives. Their latest visit underscores their commitment to building a future together in a home that bridges past and present.
