New Delhi – Actress Kritika Kamra has captured attention once again with her recent Instagram reveal of her relationship with cricket presenter Gaurav Kapur, a move that has sparked joy among followers while stirring recollections of her high-profile past with Kitani Mohabbat Hai co-star Karan Kundrra.
The duo’s connection took root amid the 2009 launch of Kitani Mohabbat Hai, a popular television series that quickly blossomed into an off-screen romance. As the show gained traction, so did their personal bond, leading to a multi-year courtship that captivated fans. Yet, by 2012, diverging career paths had eroded their time together, bringing the partnership to a natural close without any explosive fallout.
In a past interview , Kamra offered a measured account of the dissolution, emphasizing the absence of conflict. “There is no definite reason for my split with Karan. There was no fight. Both of us got very busy with our new shows and this took a toll on our relationship. It is really sad that we couldn’t take care of our relationship. There was an emotional attachment; we were together 24/7, but he never proposed to me and I am glad he didn’t,” she recounted. Kamra further noted that marriage never entered their discussions, nor did they explicitly declare the end of their time together. Instead, a lingering ease persists: “It was never like… ‘Oh, it is over’. Today, we still have a comfort level and we can talk about anything. If there is anything new we do, any advice one of us needs, we call each other first.”

Following the separation, Kamra kept subsequent personal matters more private. She was linked to Exceed Entertainment CEO Uday Singh Gauri, opting for discretion after the intense public gaze on her time with Kundrra.
Kundrra, for his part, entered a three-year relationship with VJ Anusha Dandekar, which unraveled publicly in 2022. Dandekar accused him of cheating via an Instagram update, prompting Kundrra to respond sharply, labeling her a “cruel elite woman” unwilling to own her words. He later rekindled romance with Bigg Boss 15 fellow contestant Tejasswi Prakash, and the pair have sustained their status as a beloved TV duo for four years now.
Kamra’s new beau, Gaurav Kapur, commands respect in cricket circles as a former Channel V host turned presenter, famed for his YouTube venture Breakfast With Champions. Previously wed to actress and travel presenter Kirat Bhattal since 2014, their seven-year union concluded quietly in 2021, free of fanfare or announcements.
