The popular Indian stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi is making a comeback with its 15th season, following a year-long hiatus.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty will return to helm the series as host, promising audiences another round of high-stakes challenges and celebrity performances. The announcement came via the show’s official Instagram account on Saturday, accompanied by a striking promotional video generated entirely through artificial intelligence (AI).
The AI-crafted promo features a dramatic sequence in which a woman is chained to the front of a speeding truck. The vehicle hurtles toward a cliff and plummets into a deep valley below, serving as a teaser for the extreme and daring stunts that have become the show’s hallmark.
Since its debut in 2008, Khatron Ke Khiladi has aired 14 seasons on Colors TV, building a loyal following with its blend of adrenaline-pumping tasks and competitive celebrity contestants. The most recent edition, Season 14, concluded in September 2024, with actor Karan Veer Mehra emerging victorious after outperforming finalists Krishna Shroff and Gashmeer Mahajani in the final challenge.
