Kartik Aaryan’s mother has seemingly confirmed that her son is dating Sreeleela. Recently, Kartik’s mother, Mala Tiwari, attended the IIFA Awards 2025 with her son. A video from the event has surfaced on social media where Tiwari is asked about her future daughter-in-law’s expectations. In response, Kartik’s mother stated that her son’s wife should be a good doctor. “The family’s demand is a very good doctor,” she said.

This comment has sparked speculation, with many wondering if Mala Tiwari was subtly hinting at the rumors of Kartik Aaryan’s relationship with Sreeleela. For those who are unaware, the South actress is currently studying to become a doctor.

Although neither Kartik Aaryan nor Sreeleela have officially confirmed or denied their relationship, Kartik’s mother’s recent statement has only fueled the ongoing speculations.

Earlier this month, Sreeleela was also seen at a celebration hosted by Kartik Aaryan and his family to honor his sister, Dr. Kritika Tiwari, for achieving another milestone in her medical career. In addition, Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are set to share the screen for the first time in an upcoming film directed by Anurag Basu, which is yet to be titled. A teaser of the movie was released earlier, showing Kartik singing “Tu Meri Zindagi” on stage with a brooding lover look, complete with a heavy beard and long rugged hair. The teaser also gave fans a glimpse of the chemistry between Kartik and Sreeleela in their romantic scenes. The film is scheduled to release in theatres this Diwali.
