The 35-year-old actor has been widely trolled following claims that Karina is 18, sparking criticism over the reported age difference. As memes and satirical videos proliferated, Reddit users highlighted that Shikhar Pahariya, boyfriend of Janhvi Kapoor, and Rysa Panday, younger sister of Ananya Panday, had liked posts ridiculing Kartik.

Screenshots circulated on Reddit showed Shikhar liking a repurposed old video of Kartik rushing through an airport, overlaid with a provocative caption: “This flight will take you to Epstein Island.” The same post was also liked by Sam Merchant, reportedly dating actress Triptii Dimri.

Separately, Rysa liked a video featuring an AI-generated image portraying Kartik as an elderly man. The rumours originated from similar Instagram photos posted by Kartik and Karina, appearing to show the same Goa beach spot with matching details like beach beds, towels, and ocean views. Reports further noted that Kartik briefly followed Karina on Instagram before unfollowing her as speculation grew.
Karina has denied being Kartik’s girlfriend, stating she was vacationing in Goa with family. The actor himself has not commented on the matter.
