Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav Wins Laughter Chefs Season 2

MUMBAI — Television star Karan Kundrra and YouTube sensation Elvish Yadav emerged victorious in the grand finale of Laughter Chefs Season 2, a comedy-cooking reality show on Colors TV, hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. The duo outshone strong contenders Aly Goni and Reem Shaikh, who secured the runner-up position, in a finale that aired on July 27, 2025.
The season, which premiered on January 25, 2025, captivated audiences with its blend of humor and culinary challenges. Kundrra joined the show mid-season, replacing Abdu Rozik, and quickly formed a dynamic partnership with Yadav. Their chemistry, marked by Kundrra’s structured cooking approach and Yadav’s spontaneous flair, resonated with viewers and judges alike. A standout moment came when their Mexican dish earned a rare salute from Chef Sokhi, a first in the show’s history.
Kundrra reflected on the experience, “Returning for Season 2 was incredibly special. The set had an effortless vibe no stress, just pure enjoyment. I joined mid-way with no preparation, but Elvish’s instinct-driven approach made it click. This journey shows that cooking is about connection, not perfection.” Yadav echoed this sentiment,“I thought it’d be a fun break, but it became so much more. Teaming up with Karan felt natural. My mom being there for the finale, seeing the mistakes and the win, made it unforgettable.”
The finale was a vibrant affair, featuring celebrity guests Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui, who participated in a task to prepare boondi ladoo. The audience’s votes, based on tastings of the final dessert, determined the winners, with Kundrra and Yadav earning 51 stars compared to Goni and Shaikh’s 38. Social media buzzed with excitement, though some fans expressed disappointment, believing Goni and Shaikh were frontrunners.
Laughter Chefs Season 2 also featured stars like Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Ankita Lokhande, and Krushna Abhishek, whose comedic antics and culinary efforts kept viewers hooked. The show’s mix of laughter, chaos, and heartfelt moments solidified its place as a top non-fiction program on Hindi television.
Colors TV celebrated the winners on Instagram, stating, “Elvish and Karan, whose cooking and style won the trophy and your hearts!” As the season wrapped, speculation about a potential third season began, fueled by Chef Sokhi’s hint: “Pictures bhi baki hai, mere dost, we will be back soon.”
