Mumbai: Actor Harshvardhan Rane found himself at the center of a chaotic scene as overenthusiastic fans swarmed him while he promoted the streaming release of his recent blockbuster Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. A video capturing the incident has rapidly spread across social media platforms.
The film, co-starring Sonam Bajwa and directed by Milap Zaveri, emerged as one of the year’s major successes, contributing to a resurgence of intense romantic dramas alongside titles like Saiyaara and Tere Ishk Mein. After its theatrical run, the movie became available on OTT platforms on December 26.
In the widely shared clip, Rane is seen stepping out of his vehicle and approaching the crowd when the situation escalates quickly. Fans rush toward him, with several individuals pulling at his shirt in their eagerness to get close.
The footage has elicited a mix of responses online, ranging from concern about the intensity of the mobbing to lighthearted comments.
