Sunita Ahuja Breaks Silence On Govinda Having An Affair With Someone
Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood star Govinda, has addressed ongoing rumors of her husband’s extramarital involvement, clarifying that the woman in question is not from the film industry and is motivated solely by financial gain.
In an interview with ETimes, Sunita described 2025 as a deeply challenging year personally due to persistent reports of Govinda’s alleged affair. “I’ve been hearing about Govinda’s controversy that he is having an affair with a girl, but I know that she’s not an actress because actresses don’t do such bad things. She doesn’t love him; she only wants his money,” she stated.
Looking ahead, Sunita expressed optimism for 2026, saying she hopes Govinda ends the controversies to build a peaceful family life. She emphasized that the key women in his world should remain his mother, wife, and daughter, adding, “No one has the right to keep a fourth woman in their life. This is for every man in the world, including Govinda.” She also urged him to distance himself from opportunistic associates and prioritize his career.
Earlier, in a November appearance on the Abraa Kaa Dabra podcast hosted by Paras S. Chhabra, Sunita had referenced hearing rumors of Govinda’s involvement with a Marathi actress but stressed she would only confirm upon seeing evidence herself. At that time, she noted the actor should focus on family matters, such as settling their children’s futures, rather than such distractions.
Govinda and Sunita married in 1987, keeping it secret until their daughter Tina’s birth the following year. Their son Yashvardhan arrived in 1997. The couple has faced divorce speculation since early 2025, fueled by reports of a separation notice, though they publicly reconciled during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Despite the strains, Sunita has maintained that no external force can sever their bond.
