Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Teases Epic Summer Showdown Before ‘Avengers: Doomsday

Washington: Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige unveiled exclusive footage from the much-awaited Fantastic Four: First Steps during CinemaCon on Thursday night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Feige hinted that the studio is gearing up for principal photography on Avengers: Doomsday, featuring Robert Downey Jr. as the menacing Doctor Doom, set to begin in just a few days.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer, kept offline for now, gave attendees a glimpse of the team’s chemistry. Pedro Pascal leads as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, joined by Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. The Hollywood Reporter noted a heartfelt scene where Reed and Sue discover they’re expecting a child, sparking mixed emotions. Kirby’s Sue comforts Reed with a confident, “We can do this.”
