“F1” Trailer: Brad Pitt Returns to the Track in High-Speed Racing Drama

The eagerly awaited trailer for the Formula One film, F1, starring Brad Pitt, has been unveiled. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for Top Gun: Maverick, the movie promises a high-energy sports action experience. The film is produced by a star-studded team including Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, renowned F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Oman.

The film follows Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), once hailed as Formula One’s brightest star in the 1990s before an on-track accident abruptly ended his career. Now, three decades later, Sonny works as a driver-for-hire. His life takes a dramatic turn when his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), who now owns a struggling F1 team, convinces him to make a comeback for one final chance at glory.

Joining Sonny on this daring journey is Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a talented rookie eager to carve out his own legacy. As Sonny battles his past, he learns that in the world of Formula One, even your closest allies can become your toughest competitors on the road to redemption.

In addition to Pitt, the film features notable performances from Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. Filming took place during actual Grand Prix weekends, capturing authentic racing moments as the team competed against the sport’s elite. While Kosinski directed the film, Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay, and Daniel Lupi served as the executive producer.

Kosinski’s creative team comprising director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan, and composer Hans Zimmer worked behind the scenes to bring this thrilling project to life.
