Television actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim narrowly escaped danger during their family vacation in Kashmir, leaving the region just hours before a deadly terrorist attack struck Pahalgam on April 22, 2025. The couple, accompanied by their young son Ruhaan, had been sharing glimpses of their trip on social media, including a video posted by Dipika two days earlier, capturing her strolling through the scenic Pahalgam valley, often referred to as “Mini Switzerland.”

The attack, which occurred in the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam, claimed at least 26 lives, primarily tourists, and left several others injured. In response, Shoaib Ibrahim took to Instagram Stories to reassure followers of their safety. “Hi guys, you all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain, theek hain. Aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir… and we reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern,” he wrote.

The couple’s timely departure from Kashmir allowed them to safely return to Delhi before the attack unfolded.
