Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 Maintains Strong Momentum at Box Office

Ranveer Singh’s action-packed sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge showed no signs of slowing down as it entered its second weekend, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. On Thursday, the film collected Rs 49.70 crore in the domestic market across Hindi and other languages, marking a slight uptick from Wednesday’s earnings.

With this addition, the movie’s total net collection in India has now reached Rs 675 crore, while the gross domestic figure stands at Rs 806.30 crore. Worldwide, Dhurandhar 2 has amassed Rs 1,067.24 crore in just seven days of release.

The film’s first-week performance in India stood at Rs 624.47 crore net. On Thursday specifically, the Hindi version contributed Rs 46 crore, with the Telugu dubbed version adding Rs 2.50 crore to the day’s tally. This followed Wednesday’s collection of Rs 48.75 crore across all languages.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened to a robust Rs 102.55 crore on March 19. It then registered Rs 80.72 crore on March 20 and surged to Rs 113 crore on March 21. The film continued its strong run with Rs 114.85 crore on March 22, before seeing the expected Monday drop to Rs 65 crore on March 23 and a further dip to Rs 56.55 crore on March 24.

In its Hindi version alone, the sequel amassed Rs 546.04 crore net in the first week, comfortably surpassing Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 (2024), which had collected Rs 425 crore in Hindi during its opening week. Both films achieved the milestone of entering the Rs 1,000 crore gross club worldwide within seven days, but Dhurandhar 2 has taken a clear lead in the Hindi market.

Strong performance in mass belts combined with healthy urban occupancy has driven the film’s impressive run at the ticket counters, as reported by Sacnilk.

The sequel brings back Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. NDTV’s review of the film noted that Dhurandhar 2 “must be watched for all the answers you are seeking from the first film and for Ranveer Singh.” The original Dhurandhar, which released in December 2025, emerged as the highest-grossing film of the year in a single language.

As the extended weekend unfolds, industry observers will be watching closely to see if the Ranveer Singh starrer can sustain its blockbuster pace in the days ahead.
