Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Reveal First Photos of Daughter Dua This Diwali – Internet Melts
It was a picture-perfect Diwali for DeepVeer fans as Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh unveiled the first official photos of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. The couple marked the Festival of Lights by sharing an adorable family photoshoot, wishing fans love and light across social media.
Dressed in matching traditional outfits, Deepika and baby Dua twinned in red and gold ensembles, while Ranveer complemented them in a cream-colored outfit. Celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani revealed on Instagram that the family’s elegant Diwali looks were all designed by ace couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
In the heartwarming pictures, the couple could be seen gazing lovingly at their one-year-old, who appeared cheerful and camera-ready. One of the photos shows Dua on Deepika’s lap with folded hands during the family’s festive Diwali pooja, winning hearts online instantly.
This marks the first time Deepika and Ranveer decided to share a glimpse of their daughter publicly. Until now, the star couple had maintained a strict “no photographs” policy for their child, similar to other Bollywood parents. Just last month, a leaked airport video featuring Deepika and Dua surfaced briefly online before being taken down.
Last Diwali, the couple had only revealed Dua’s name along with a tender post showing her tiny feet. Their note read, “Dua Padukone Singh ‘Dua’ means a prayer, because she is the answer to ours. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.” Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024.

The photos set social media buzzing within minutes. Colleagues and fans flooded the post with love and excitement. On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next appear in Aditya Dhar’s much-awaited spy thriller Dhurandhar, releasing in December 2025. Deepika, meanwhile, will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan in King. She’s also teaming up with director Atlee for an upcoming Telugu film opposite Allu Arjun.
